WHAT'S SHAKING DOWN UNDER?

A Qantas B767, a former Ansett B7474s ( before she was bought over by SQ and later put to sleep) and Air New Zealand B7474.

I used to fly both Qantas Australia and Ansett Australia for my trips to Sydney and Melbourne during the mid-90s, almost once every month.

Things used to be hot down under, but now much cooler with one less player.

CHOCOLATES ANYONE?

The premium Baci chocolate colors made this B7473s Alitalia whets more apetite-appeal.

I must say it's far superior than the original red-green-white combo.

Kombinasi warna yang jauh lebih baik dibanding warna asli merah-hijau-putih mereka.

METAL TUBES OF THE SKIES

Still my preferred livery for United Airlines, the dark metal tube feel pushing their way through the wanderous skies. The new blue and white combo seems weak to me, sorry folks.

THE SIMPSONS FLEW WESTERN PACIFIC

The Simpsons flew WP.

Old Western Pacific livery on their B7373s,

during the Simpson's high flying days on the idiot box a few years back.

Now that they've made it to the movies, any new takers?

Udeh nonton Simpsons the movie blon? Nah yang ini jauh sebelum mereka ke layar lebar.

Waktu baru ngetop di televisi beberapa waktu dulu, keluarga Simpson

terlihat terbang bersama Western Pacific.

OLD IS GOLD

A brief visit to the past.

Lufthansa's DC3, one of the earliest craft in their fleet. As the world celebrated a century of flight in 2004, this same Lufthansa swan took to the skies again re-tracking its old flight-path.

...And another old glory, this one's from the United States Air Force.

CALL SIGN AIR FORCE ONE

Call sign: Air Force One ONLY whenever the President's on board. Otherwise, she'll take on a normal flight numbering. The handsome and majestic B7474s specially tailored for USA's number one man.

Setiap kali sang Presiden berada di pesawat, B747 ini akan diberi Call-sign Air Force One.

Tanpa beliau, pesawat ini akan menggunakan nomer penerbangan biasa.

THE FEDEX TRIO

Here's a fleet of the FedEx trio: a DC10, a A 300 and a A310 each.

The real ones used to be the main workhorse running about the globe for the

" When it absolutely has to be there tomorrow" overnight deliveries.

Livery design by Landor associates, a sister company of the ad agency I'm with.

The design is still one of my all-time favorites.

merupakan antar pesawat-pesawat utama perusahaan tersebut
pada suatu waktu. Logo dan Livery didesain oleh Landor, sebuah perusahaan Amrik

merupakan antar design ter-favoritku.

MY VERY OWN FLEET AND AIRPORT

Hey I'm back from a long trip away and have just landed home again. That's been quite a long period since I last came around.

Now, enjoy a dioramic sample of my aircraft fleet and the airport miniatures complete with ground items, my collection of Herpa, Dragon and everything else while I was in Jakarta. I rediscovered these pics hidden somewhere in my PC just last evening.

It's been a while since I got home, back in KL and the birds are all still in the boxes;

awaiting for transfer to our new home.

Am planning to create a new dioramic model complete with lighted runways and bigger airport terminals once there. Will be delighted to upload the pictures once I have that ready for your viewing pleasure.

Koleksi pesawat miniaturku sewaktu masih di Jakarta. Ada kurang lebih 400an unit, sekarang masih ngendon di beberapa buah kardus di gudang; nunggu pindah ke rumah baru. Pengennya 'tuk membina sebuah diorama Bandar Udara yang komplit dengan terminal en runway.

Tunggu aja tanggal maennya, 'ntah kapan... Wallahua'lam...
